Organizing Committee Announces its Slogan and Web Site ...  In Tripoli, last Wednesday at the African Union Hall was the official announcement of the logo of the AlFateh Football Quintet Tournament and start of its web-site.
Six countries take part in this event, they are Brazil, Spain, Guatemala, Iran, Suleiman Islands, and Libya, which will be held from October 5 to 12, 2009.
The contest slogan represents the African content surrounded by the Libyan Desert and a green belt and flags of concerned countries.

 Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has criticised his Manchester City counterpart Mark Hughes for his response to Emmanuel Adebayor's stamp on Robin van Persie.
The Football Association have charged former Gunners striker Adebayor with violent conduct and City have until 6pm to Wednesday night to respond.
Match referee Mark Clattenburg has confirmed he would have sent the Togo international off for the challenge had he seen it clearly.

 Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, who cost Real Madrid over 150 million euros, aim to lead the Spanish giants to a 10th European title this season, with their campaign starting in the humble surroundings of FC Zurich on Tuesday.
Ronaldo, the world's most expensive player, insists the historic winning mentality at the club will be key to driving them to a place in the Champions League final which will be staged at their Santiago Bernabeu home in May next year.
"This is a club used to winning, a lot of the players here are winners, but now it's about a new team and a new squad," said Ronaldo, keen to dismiss comparisons with the Galactico era.

 Kim Clijsters made history Sunday night, capping a comeback from two years out of tennis to become the first unseeded woman to win the U.S. Open — and the first mom to win a major since 1980 — with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over No. 9 Caroline Wozniacki.
When it was over, Clijsters collapsed to the ground and started crying — tears of joy, probably mixed in with a little bit of shock, too. Her 18-month-old daughter, Jada, was in a suite with a pacifier in her mouth.
Guess what mommy got for you, sweetie! A Grand Slam title.
