Afriqiyah Airways launched the Tripoli-Johannesburg route on the 19th of September, 2009, which is for any Libyan Airline for the first time has operated in such the longest cross-continent nonstop flight ever.
The introduction of the Johannesburg direct flight is the continuation of Afriqiyah Airway's efforts and determination to link African States and Africa with the world.
