Repaired Hubble sends new imagesWASHINGTON – A refurbished U.S. space telescope is showing Earth the sharpest photos yet of cosmic beauty, complete with heavenly glows.
NASA on Wednesday unveiled the first deep space photos taken by the Hubble telescope since its billion dollar repair mission earlier this year. That work included installing two new cameras, other science instruments and replacing broken parts.
"Hubble is back in action. Together, NASA and Hubble are opening new vistas on the universe," astronomer and frequent Hubble user Heidi Hammel said.

Technological advancements of the futureLet us take a journey together.
A journey into the not-so distant future. Here in the future, we do not think in terms of gadgets any longer.
They are no longer accessories; they are “augmentations” which enhance our life, our productivity or our abilities within a given field of knowledge, industry or profession.
Now that we are harnessing the abundant power of the human body, there is no longer any need for batteries and such like.
And our bodies no longer simply power such devices, they play host to them, too.
